14 May Rumson Presbyterian Book Group
Beginning May 28th and continuing each week for 6 weeks through July 2nd. We will meet on Thursdays from 10-11am. The book we will be reading is An Alter in the World by Barbara Brown Taylor. “From the simple practices such as walking, working, and getting lost to deep meditations on topics like prayer and pronouncing blessings, Taylor reveals concrete ways to discover the sacred in the small things we do and see.” Books will be provided for you and will be available for pick up on Sunday, May 24. For the first gathering read the Introduction and Chapters 1 & 2. Please email Whitney (whitney@rumsonpresbyterian.org) if you are interested in participating so we can be sure to have enough books.
